共产党将千万学龄青少年强行上山下乡说成是“防止忧郁症”真是与纳粹的 'Arbeit macht frei" 口号有异曲同工之处.

"Arbeit Macht Frei" (Work Makes You Free) is a notorious German phrase placed over the entrances of Nazi concentration camps like Auschwitz and Dachau, serving as a cynical, deceptive slogan promising liberation through forced labor that instead led to death, symbolizing the ultimate cruelty and dehumanization of the Holocaust. Originally from a 19th-century novel and used in pre-war unemployment programs, the Nazis twisted it to mock prisoners forced into horrific, deadly work, with the only "freedom" coming through exhaustion or extermination.
