不要批评别人，二十多年前来美国读博，一位老师的话，现在还记得。

当时他让学生读一本书，然后写评论。我刚来美国不久，还带着中国习惯，就在书评中批判作者观点，显示自己。老师对我说，don't criticize others, use what they say to formulate your argument. He passed away a couple of years ago, but to this date I still remeber what he said to me.
