My understanding is the victors of WWII

decided the Tibet is part of China when they divided the
world after WWII. That is why you don't see U.S. British,
France, Russian governments supporting Tibet independence
openly. Like it or not, victors of WWII got their rewards
and the last decision will stand as long as there are enough power to defend it.
