But the reality is even worse. The county of MaChen in Hubei province was famouse for three PLA generals.  My roommate was from that town and he was proud of those Generals.  One day, I borrowed a book talking about the 10,000 jin per acre crops where kids jumping up and down on the crops and it happened in his home town Machen of Hubei.

He said he have never seen this picture before and it was not true.  The reality is the starvation was wide spread.  The neighboring town of 6000+ people has only 3 people survived and one of them is PLA soldier who was in the military. 

No starvation?  Well, stupid people would never admit they were lied to until the government said so.
