俺16岁自己决定到牧区插队，

向我父亲说明意愿，并请求他的批准和支持。记得很清楚，那天是星期二。我父亲说，你再仔细考虑一下，我们星期六晚上谈吧。那4天对我来说无比漫长。到了星期六，父亲见我意志坚定，提出插队的理由也符合个人实际，逐答应了我的请求。差不多2周以后，我就睡在了牧区的土炕上啦。

临行前，我父亲送我一句话：“抗战用了8年，你也要做好长期滞留乡下的艰苦准备！”

我到牧区那天是16岁半另2天，15个月后结束了那段难忘的生活。。。感恩/感谢好时代，改革开放的春天！
