month.. if you really want to get her prepared, i recommend your finding a teacher. I found the professionals respects kids much more than us. Do we really know how an average 3rd grader responds to a new concept or the best way to interest them or easier for them to grasp?.. we don't. we just know we know it pretty well and think it is easy. but that is only because we have used it for years.
