The English class in my freshman year had lots of his

short stories - it was American Literatures for International Students - God blessed, we had to endure 4 courses, 2 at Freshman and 2 at Sophomore for a total of 12 credits and passed an exit exam before we could take courses in our chosen Majors. It was University of Houston. I totally forgot what short stories I read. Though I still remember the Loooong ones as Scarlet Letter, The Red Badge of Courage etc, probably due to those were painful assignments! The Sophomore year mainly dealt with poems, dramas and modern literatures, btw.
