VISITING LONDON

I will have 2 days of leisure time in London, staying in a hotel near Angel station (zone 1). Is it far from British Museme? Buckingham Palace? I am wondering if there are other places you'd recommend to visit? Is it easy to get around in the city? I only have Euros, would it be problem?
