any player worthy of playing in the nba has a few tricks up their sleeves, like tjones, brooks, etc. if given the chance will have their nights as well.
there're plenty of games where bev played like absolute trash and still share the same amount of minutes as lin. the promotion of bev is not based on merit and likewise for lin. that's why it's unfair. if bev played better than lin, people say 'see, bev earned his starter spot. lin must try harder.' if lin playes better, people say 'lin is thriving coming off the bench. good decision to let him lead the bench.' it's a no win situation for lin. it's plain obvious rockets do not want lin no matter how well he does.
