Ask help for speeding in Virgina

On July 2nd, I went to pick up one of my friends from Dulles airport, somehow I was late and didn't notice my car was 87miles/hour over 55 limit. I was caught by two police men and they asked me to go to court on August 20. Recently, I got many mails from law offices in VA. They tried to convience me to have them at court with me since "Reckless Driving" is more serious issue in VA than in MD ( I am a resident of Maryland). The minium attorney fee will be $1000. I don't know what to do about this, any one has good advice?
