About the life insurance?

I am going to buy the term life insurance soon.But I have some question:
1.If I put my daught as the first beneficiary ( she is only 5), how can I ensure she can get the money when we both lose the lives?
2.If I put my parents in China as the secondary beneficiary, does anybody know how to claim the money if they are in case from china?
