I understand. I wouldn't do that for true love either, but we do need to have strong strategy to deal with really nasty things -- if we don't, we'll be the people to be sorry.

This is what I understand about "good and tough" -- we need to be good, and we do need to be tough, and we simply cannot afford being naive.
