Everyone makes mistake, so don't worry right now. First, with the indictment number, you can search the state criminal law (just google it), it will give you the category of the case: misdimeanor, crime or felony, also it will you possible charge on it. So you will get some knowledge on possible consequence on it.

我们的问题是：
1.这个case 有多严重？最坏的情况，会判什么？会坐牢吗？会被直接递解出境吗？我们被criminal 和 battery这样的单词吓到了，很严重吗？可是他肯定没有身体接触那个警察或者说脏话或者威胁性的话啊！
It does not matter if he physically did it or not, battery to a security is not a good thing. And it is a crime according to law.

2.下月上庭审判后，怎样的结果会留案底？怎样的结果会对以后的签证，找工作时的background check,绿卡等留下不好影响的记录？
Definitely there will be a record, you can go to the local police station to ask for the arrest report, this report will be very critical to you and your lawyer because it describes the whole event. So you need to get it. And this record can not be eliminated unless the case is dismissed or the arrest record is expunged. And whenever background check is executed, it is supposed to show on record if the defendant is charged. Depends on the charge, it can be nothing or severe. But make sure get a good lawyer no matter how much he will charge you (probably you are not qualified for a pro bono lawyer), and this lawyer has to be a criminal lawyer.


3.battery到底什么定义？对方是警察是不是罪加一等？后来我的美国朋友告诉我，根据我的描述，他们觉得可能拖车的不是真的警察，而是机场的security person,所以才会说叫警察，去警局后他们就走了，处理的是另外的警察。
4.为了保险起见，我们打算请律师了。希望能光罚款了事，而不要留下任何记录。问题是事情发生在伊利诺伊州，出庭也是在伊州，而我们在威斯康星，是不是我们需要找伊州的律师？
5.找律师要找专长是battery的律师，还是专长是移民法的律师？另外需要一个翻译吗？还是找中国人律师？因为我ld英语不太好，对法律用语更是知之甚少（不然也不会产生这么多沟通障碍了）。
6.据说机场都有security camera的，我们作为个人可以要求看吗？或者我们请的律师能要求看吗？还是法庭才有权利？因为ld比较自信肯定没有身体接触，我们觉得可能用录像带做证据对我们有利，这样想对吗？
I don't think you can get the record at all. Don't count on it. Discuss with your lawyer on it thoroughly before you go to the court.

万分感谢了！我们只求破财消灾，如果后果只是付罚金，多少我们都愿意接受。这件事里ld做了很多不明智的事，比如违章停车，反复要求不要拖走车，没有把威胁call police当回事。。。我已经反复教育ld了，ld现在也很后悔处理不当。但是我们真不觉得这些错误deserve一个criminal charge啊！我们代我们的小宝宝谢谢大家了！
