It is not like that --
When they agreed that the landlord can show the house, they basically agreed that strangers will go into their house. It is just like you want to sell your own house and leave the keys for realtor to enter your place. In my state, it requires the realtor to inform the resident 24hr before hand, that's it. (She can call back the realtor to agree for a different time. The realtor should leave a message.) If she lose anything, she can ask the realtor for compensation.
Honestly, the realtor was probably not happy that the house is not in a "showcase" state.
I think the easiest is to move out now.
