just give them the 50 bucks. But now, I am mad by their rude attitude and I am reluctant to give even one more cent. Furthermore, I am trying to seek some suggestions - if the same situations happen in the furure, what should I do to protect myself? Just give whatever amount the debt collector asks for, or stand up for the unfairness? Is there any rules we can follow?
