请问stp等高手关于3年免税treaty的问题

关于必须在大学/政府科研部门/非赢利科研机构从事教学/研究. 我仔细读了中美treaty, 里面只提到the primary purpose of teaching, giving lectures or conducting research at a university, college, school or other accredited educational institution or scientific research institution.
似乎没有定义是非赢利科研机构. 不知道profitresearch company 是否包含在里面?
