Talk to insurance company and say you have no choice

I had the same problem when I had my baby. Just called the insurance and tell them the truth: you have no other choice and contact the doctor office saying you talked to the insurance office already and let them wait.

Sure it will take you some time,if you are rich enough you can just pay the bill.
