My nephew is delayed in the airport, but the airline doesn't car
Due to some traffic issue in the airport, just now the American Airlines plane landed but couldn't enter the bay. It delayed for around 1 hour, and my nephew consequently missed the other American Airlines flight to the school. He has to wait until tomorrow 8AM. Is it the responsibility of American Airlines to provide free room and board?
I have seen tons of accusations saying Chinese Airlines discriminating Chinese folks and how nice the American were. But this time, why this American suggested my nephew sit in a chair in the airport to wait until tomorrow? And I didn't hear any expected words such as "sorry" from her in the phone talk. I was so anxious now, but she just showed apathy. (However, she said that they can provide half priced hotel room which is still high than the priceline's bargain price. Why must my nephew pay for their problems?)
This is his first time in US. He just passed the US port. He comes to study an undergradate program in the school I am staying.
