What the landlord can do:

1. Let you pay all rest rent fee according to the lease.

2. Report to credit bureau, you will have a bad credit history. It means you cannot apply new credit card, you cannot get low interest loan. If you want to buy a house in the future, the higher interest loan will let you lose more than $10,000....

3. They can sue you in small amount court.
