moving company

Does anyone have any successful experience dealing with moving company? Please share with me.

Recently, I am dealing with my movers. The original contract says that the furniture should arrive within 7-10 days. It has been almost three weeks or 15 business days, I still have got my furniture. They have missed three delivery dates they promised. I told them I was going to call police. Do I have other options? Any advice is appreciated.
