I think the brokage company should take resposibility for this incident.
I know these kinds of story from newspaper. There are groups of people(most from east europe or Russia) invaded some investor accounts
(Etrade, TDameritrade etc.). They played Pump-Dump game on Pinksheet or OTC stocks. In the end, I remember the article said that make brokage company lost millions dollars(they may reimburse victims).
