background check by us office of personnel management

Hi,

My job assignment has a government contract. Now I am going to go through background check by us office of personnel management.

I had an wrongly arrest by policy for shoplifting, and now it is dismissed. This happened half year ago.

I wonder if this record will affect my job.

Anybody has any experience on that?
