What and how many stocks and/or mutual funds do you have in your account?
If you don't know, you are too s....d (just kind reminding).
If you know, there shouldn't exist your mentioned problems.

14% ($14676 to $16865) variation in one day, not often (depends what you are holding), but nothing is strange.
