Small Claim - Q for Enforcement

I went to a small claim court and was rewarded $2000 ( 66% won ). I thought the judger made a compromise, hence I appealed immediately. However, the case has been pending for one year without any development, of course, the defendant has not paid me yet.

I plan to file 'tran of judgment' and freeze the defendant's bank or secure his property.

Q - Should I withdraw the appeal first before filing Tran of Judgment or am I entitled to do so while appealing?
