Help!May I quit job after GC? My spouse' is still pending

Please help me if you know it is perfectly alright. thanks in advance.
I got GC through NIW 7 months ago, but my spouse didn't get GG, his I485 is still pending(name check), I was the principal applicant for the GC. I have continued working in the same field for 7 months after I got GC this year. Now I am thinking about quitting my job and planning on staying at home for a whole year with no income from me. But my spouse is working with EAD card, I am worried if the fact that I am not working will affect my spouse's GC, Do I have to work until my spouse gets his GC?
