ZZ)Can the insurance company increase the premium twice for the same
accident?

A brand new case here: My friend just came from the court. He had an accident
before (his fault). The insurance company paid the damage of the car, but
rejected the claim of the passenger in that car, that passenger claimed she
was injured in the accident and asked for a large amount of money. The
insurance company then increased the next year premium (30% more) of my friend
for this accident. as far as I know, the company had paid the driver almost
$2000 for the car damage. Then that passenger sued my friend in the court for
her compensation. The amount she sued is still under the coverage of the
insurance policy. The insurance company assigned an attorney to my friend and
they went to the trial. Finally they lost the trial and the judger judged that
the insurance should pay that person a large amount of money. My was afraid
that his next year insurance premium will be increased by the company a lot
for they should pay a lot. When he asked his attorney about this, the attorney
said the premium will not be increased again 'cause the company had done this
(30% increase), they could not do this again. I just heard this from my
friend. I don't know if this is true. But I think this is a very good case for
those who worried their premium increase after an accident. you are welcome to
