My concern is originally I asked 2 months leave, but due to the complications with my pregnancy, my doctor gave me 3 months. This seems very sudden to the CTO and PM, they didn't expect it and I inform this decision right before I leave. This would definitely annoy them. I don't know what is waiting for me after 3 months staying at home.

Sure, they won't fire me, but they will probably fire me after several months, what I should do? On average, there are 2 person in my department got fired each month, so I only can expect the worst.

Any ideas?
