No, you are not eligible. This is so called "abandoned sopuse" rule. It only applies when you pay over half of your child's expense and your spouse did not stay in your house, even for a single night, during the past 6 monthes. However, you might be able to deduct your wife's travel expense (I am not very sure about this)
