Am I the co-owner of our house

maybe here is another good place to find some suggestion, too.

me and my hu*****and just bought a house, in the closing day, the seller couples have to sign all the paper by both of them, but at our side, seems like my hu*****and is the only buyer, he signed the deed, and all other stuff, I just need to sigh for the loan.

when I put 20% down, they asked me to transfer the money to my hu*****and's account and signed a gift letter, says i won't ask for the money back...

are these normal? we bought house after got married, does it belong to both of us, or just belong to buyer?
