you should get yourself a lawyer.

I know somebody in the similar situation as you. She has a decent job and a son. But her hu*****and has to pay her $1500 to support the kid until he is 18.

In your situation, you do not work. He should also support you if he wants a divoice. The key fact will be who's fault. For example, if he has affair with another woman.
