Based on what you said above, what your tenant did is criminal in nature, credit card fraud, a felony which I believe it is. It is not like civil complaint or misdemeanor charge that you can withdraw. You and your hu*****and, as victims and important witnesses, may be asked to testfify in court in support of the prosecution. So far, you can do nothing to help him. What he needs is a criminal defense attorney.
