Please look carefully. Please look at the Exception to time lived with you on 2005 1040 Instriction page 21:
Temporary absences for special circumstances, such as for school, vocation, medical care, military services, or detention in a juvenile facility, COUNT AS TIME LIVED WITH YOU.

So, how do you think?
