need help about form W8BEN

I was asked to fill out form W8BEN (certificate of forein status of Beneficial owner for US tax withholding) when open a stock account in Ameritrade, but I am H1 and am considered resident alien when file federal tax, should I still fill this form? I ask Ameritrade they don't know. anybody can give me advice? thanks in advance
