Do I need to do any thing for US tax payment? thanks!

I'm a visiting scholar holding F1 visa. I understand I do not need to pay any US tax because I have got no income. Howevr, I may need to fill out some tax forms and send them to the government. Do I need to do that? if yes, How? Any one knows this and give me some advice? Many thanks!
