I was lawsuited...

One of my friends got a car accident when he was taking the road test for his driver's license, in the end of 2002, as a result the airbag broke and hurt the examiner on the cheeks and hands, but only a little bleeding, not serious. This accident was due to the nervouseness arising from the heart disease warning from the examiner. But after the accident, my friend still saw the examiner working in the same road test center several times, and she looked OK. But now, I got the court letter and realized she is lawsuiting me asking for the payment of $50,000 for her permanent injure and mental pains, for the accident which happened 11 months ago. My friend had the insuarance at the accident time. I wonder if she can win the lawsuit. The court trial was scheduled in Nov., 2006. Thanks in advance.
