Don't use 1040-ES

Don't use 1040-ES because there should be four installments if you are using 1040-ES. Even if you have paid all your tax before 12/31, you may still be subject to penalty. Instead, ask your employer to withhold $3000 from your paycheck. There is no date on withholding, which means the withholding from your first paycheck or the last will be treated equally by IRS.
