H1-B visa holder pregnant,

My situation is special, I lost my job at 11/2004, but my company like to keep my H1-B at his company,so my H1-B is still available, but I didn't pay tax from that time.( My lawyer told me if I don't apply green card it's fine no pay tax.) Now I'm pregnant, and no insurance. Can I apply medicare aid? And I'm VA, the DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES will check my income eligibility to establish eligibility for assistance. My question is if I apply medicare aid, then will know I didn't pay tax from 11/2004, that will effect my H1-B? Please help, how can I keep this baby? Thanks.
