Gender Discrimination ?
I was terminated by my company last week without any obvious reason.
I am the only female developer in the 16-members engineering group and also is the only developer who was terminated. I have been working hard and completed
all the tasks assigned to me on time or even before the required time. But for some unknown reason my manager think I could not handle the tasks forward (the reason given to me) and I think it is really not fair.
I have double masters degree and all other members in the group have only bachelors degree. The manager himself is a college drop-out. I was actually hired by another manager but somehow my current manager became my supervisor during the coorporate reorganization about 4 months ago and it has been different since then. He just doubts my ability continously and think I don't fit in the group and finally took the action.
Could this be a gender-discrimination case? If I file, my chance to win ?
Any advise is greatly appreciated as I was never involved in any lawsuit in the
past 10 years in US.
