money evaporated???

我和我老婆分别在bank of america and suntrust 有帐户. 这个周五,我们发现我开给她
的$1400 check 已经被suntrust chashed. However, her count has no any record of
this check and the balance didn't change. Then we checked bank previous
statements and found there is no record for another check ($1500) I written to
her couple months ago. We went to the office of Suntrust. They sent a request
to the headquater(I guess) and told us to wait anbout 5 business days for
their
reply. We were not satisfied with this. But we don't know whatelse we can do.
I checked the policy of Suntrust. The deposited credit will be available one
day after the deposition. This weird things happened. We don't know what
happended. BTW, don't use Suntrust anymore. We will cancel it soon. They
didn't
aknowledge it's their mistakes. They asked us to fill a form of dispute. We
think it's rediculous. We are waiting suntrust's anwer. Any advice will be
helpful. It seems our money has evaporated. We are careless peoples. We should check our account timely.
