If you rented and your hu*****and drove, then you are both screwed if you don't resolve this correctly.

Like I mentioned, reply to the letter and state your case. You can write in your hu*****and's name. If the court decides you still need to pay a fine, then pay it. That's all.

Your hu*****and should be able to come back because the case is not finalized, so it is not in any record yet.
