How to handle this tax issue?

I am doing some forex trading, i.e. USD/GBP;EUR/USD. I am working here with h1b. How should I handle the gain or loss from the trading as it is not a stock, mutual fund? There is no policy from IRS regarding this? Any ideas? Thanks
