Help! state resident problem!

I have a tax problem needs help, thanks a lot. I moved from CA to MA since May 2004, and my wife moved from CA to MA since October 2004. Both of us worked full-time for the whole year in those two states. We are going to file joint tax return. Which state should we file as residental taxpayers, or both? Thank you very much.
