关于父母作为dependant报税

我母亲2003年来美居留一年,去年报税时作为我的dependant.我母亲于去年三月返回中国,我想问一下,我今年报税时还可以把我母亲作为dependant吗?我已经读了519,关于substantial presence 有点疑问,其中的current year是指2004年,还是报税时的实际时间.
