如果法官问，这半瓶酒是怎么留在车里的，父母better have evidence showing they took the half bottle from restaurant or a friend's house，such as restaurant receipt or friend's testimony.  

如果他们只是自说自话，法官有斟酌权不采纳父母的证词。这样不但救不了儿子，还可能给自己找麻烦。
