废话太多了

Your honor，I drove on xx （highway） in xx (date).  When I saw the flashing light, I slowed down immediately and stopped in the first available shoulder. Then the police officer gave me two tickets.

法官审问超速，你可以说这条路你开过几次，记得是70MPH（查一下这条路某段的最高限速）。。。你这速度怎么都超了，只能说 I am a good driver who always drive carefully, etc， 看看能不能从轻，然后上课免点数。

法官问到你为什么这么久才停。。 I don't think he followed me for long, probably yes but I didn't notice. I'm sure I slowed down immediately when I saw the flashing light, and stopped in the first available shoulder.

其他都是对你没利的废话。比如“Initially I did not know which car the officer wanted to pull over” --你用不着知道警察到底想抓哪辆车，因为警灯在你的后面，是不是你，都应该让路。

事实上，如果你真的是跟着另一辆车，很可能警察起初准备抓第一个的，枪打出头鸟。但你完全不给他让路，即使你停不下来也一定要减速往旁边尽量靠，给他一个过去的空间，如果这个时候他还不过去，才可能真正是你，马上打紧急灯停下来。

警察亮灯不一定是你犯错误，还可能他看到什么危险的事情，需要及时提醒你。我曾经碰到过，因为后备箱没有关上。你开2 miles才停，有一天可能命都没有了，还不知道怎么回事。就你这个样子，在家坛扬言要骗女孩子，能骗得了吗？
