律师哪里有说你付的flat fee并不保证他必须把列出的事完成？

“The intent of this agreement is that there will be a one time engagement fee to cover the drafting of the above referenced documents after consultations with the client.”
只有在律师认为超出了原先列出的事情，或你的事情becomes a contested matter，retainer fee才会有变化。

俺的理解，这个retainer fee是你的downpayment，如果事情没有变化，就是你最终的费用。如果有变化，最后的费用要么是这个retainer fee + 额外费用，或是新的retainer fee when it becomes contested matter.
