A bit expensive.
1. According to American IP Law Association's economic survey in 2011, you law firm should have this copy:
http://www.aipla.org/learningcenter/library/books/econsurvey/Pages/default.aspx
Average Hourly Billing Rate
for Associate is $250-$400, page 18-20.
For partners, $330-550 page 15-17.
Typical cost for a biomedical patent is around $10-15K (p28). But appeals and other complications might cost more.
2. For patent firms: see http://www.iptoday.com/issues/2014/03/top-patent-firms.asp
You have to skip first few firms, since they are so called mailbox firms for filing COPIES of foreign patents so their number is inflated. A good place to start is No. 7 to 14.
3. Cost
Cost is not the only consideration, the quality of the patent matters much more, since you can make way more money. You can find companies charge a fix price to get a patent, but I doubt the quality.
If you can't cover the minimal cost for a patent, you can't win in the pharm industry.
