If you were laid off for having a baby, you would have a case. The issue is that you need to prove the causal link between your termination and your having a baby. If the compnay laid off other employees at the same time due to the company's new policy, or if the company had been dissatisfactory about your work for a long time, you will have trouble to win the case.

Talk to the HR of the company, asking for the reasons for your lay-off. Then try to figure out whether these are good causes. If you think all reasons offered by the company are just excuses, you can find a lawyer specialized on employment cases to represent you.
