如果事情这么简单，楼主在法庭上怎么会说不清呢？

even though the dentist is liar, i wonder how come LZ couldn't get money from the court. I just need to show the judge all information（insurance coverage, customer deposit, final bill statement, etc.....） and explained what the correct process is.

that's the thing really puzzle to me
