毁约的后果

We signed a contract for window installation. The windows came in at a larger size than our window frame. So we were told that they'd rush-order smaller size, and by doing that, they have to put trims around the windows. The owner of the company agreed that they's paint the trims before the installation and the trims would be free to us. We agreed, then they came in today for the installation, without the trim stuff, they started carving our window frames without even telling us. When we asked the installation person, they said the owner just told them that "Mr. abc would rather have the installation without trims." We were really mad at it, and the owner even didn't answer our phone(i've kept trying for the whole day and left him messages.) My questions are that if I wanna walk out the contract:
1.can we get the deposit money back?
2. can he sue me since I broke the contract?
3. can he put a bad record to my house? what can i do if that's the case?
4. what other options do I have?
